Life is inscrutable, full of endless beauty. Life ends suddenly and that is the best that could happened to us. This natural balance of beings fascinates me.
I explore lost illusions, fear of death and life, abandonment and loneliness, constant existential choice, time fluidity and memory uncertainty.
My works grows from everyday life. The moment of reality contemplation through found objects and picking up what nature gives us is important for me. This is how I talk to the world. My method is collecting and compilation of natural and artificial. That’s why in my sculptures there are concrete, paint, glass, wire (artificial, dead) and wood, flowers, feathers, grass (natural, alive).
Recently I appeal to polaroids due to their capacity of fading and constant element of suddenness. These shoots represent time fluidity and memory uncertainty. I don’t attempt to make infinite work of art. Faded polaroids, wire rusting or changes in herbarium are the part of the work, its life. Death of work is caused by impossibility of restoration.
