Full circle, 2020
Wire, concrete, polaroid. 10x10x30 cm
Circle is a geometrical that is very common in nature. There is no end and no beginning in this form. Nevertheless there is eternal movement. To break the circle is to stop the movement.
With the piece “Full circle” I try to juxtapose eternal natural cycles and human civilization (The Anthropocene). If the circles formed by the fern is a vicious circle, the circle of wire is broken and hidden in the concrete.
“Full circle” is my question to contemporary civilization: where do we go as a species? Maybe we should break the circle, stop the movement and begin the new cycle where we will respect and care the eternal laws of nature.
