Secrets, 2021
Epoxy, concrete, herbarium, found objects. 24,5х14,5х5 cm
Creating these objects I thought about our homes, mostly about apartments in the big cities. I thought about those concrete boxes, where I have spent most of my life. I wondered how many happiness, skeletons, little tragedies they contain. It is something familiar with little secrets that I’ve made with my mother in childhood. You should lay tiny things and flowers under the glass, cover it with soil and wait. In a couple of days, you should excavate the secret and check where it is uncovered and destroyed or the secret is safe.
Our homes are the secrets, that are simultaneously visible and invisible. Suddenly the lockdown came and we faced alone with our secrets. For someone, it was habitual, for someone it was unbearable.
